Simon Fashion Show At SouthPark Friday and Saturday, October 22 - 23

This fall Simon Property Group, Inc. will bring high-energy
runway shows to shoppers across the nation with Simon Fashion Now
presented by Land Rover Charlotte. This free, dynamic celebration of
style will make a stop at SouthPark on October 22 - 23. Spotlighting
must-have trends for fall from fashionable SouthPark retailers, Simon
Fashion Now is bringing the drama and excitement of runways shows to
stylish shoppers in Charlotte.

Simon Fashion Now's style expert Bobbie Thomas will offer SouthPark
event attendees inspiration and advice. Currently, millions of people
wake up to catch Bobbie on NBC's "Today Show", where she serves as
Style Editor. Bobbie's national column "The Buzz" featured in In
Touchweekly magazine for more than seven years, highlighted
Hollywood's hottest fashion and beauty must-haves.

"Simon Fashion Now is all about the realistic runway and making it
easy for shoppers to create their own look immediately after seeing it
in the fashion shows," said Simon Fashion Now style expert Bobbie
Thomas. "Consumers like Simon Fashion Now because they get an instant
tutorial on what's hot for the coming season and I look forward to
working with shoppers in Charlotte to help select style choices that
reflect their inner personality."

Runway shows rivaling fashion industry shows in production values will
take place during Simon Fashion Now. Yet unlike the industry shows
that preview styles unavailable for several months, Simon Fashion Now
makes the hottest men and women's fashions of the season accessible;
every look from the runway can be immediately found at retailers
within SouthPark.
"We provide the NOW factor which allows shoppers to purchase
everything they see on the runway that same day," said Shari Simon,
senior vice president of corporate marketing. "Since every price point
is featured, no consumer group is excluded."
Simon Fashion Now events begin at SouthPark on Friday, October 22 in
Circle Court. The evening kicks off at 5 p.m. with Trends & Friends
Night, an evening of fashion, cocktails and bites. Participating
retailers will offer exclusive special deals, demos and sampling.
Trends & Friends Night will offer tasty fare from Blynk Organic,
California Pizza Kitchen and San Antonio's Modern Mexican as well as
beats from a live steel drum band playing sounds of the beautiful
Caribbean island of Anguilla – all free of charge. Throughout the
evening, attendees can view fashion shows featuring retailers such as
Aeropostale, bebe, Caché, Francesca's Collections, GUESS, Jessica
McClintock, Lucky Brand, Nine West, Pure, Sedona Boutique, True
Religion and White House Black Market, among others. Shoppers can
expect to see an abundance of styles for men and women ranging from
casual weekend wear and stylish outfits for the office, to show-
stopping looks for a night on the town. The highlight of the evening
will be the Go Red Fashion Show featuring local female celebrities
modeling red fashions by Macy's in support of the American Heart
Association. Guests are invited participate in a silent auction, and
100 percent of the proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association.
Simon Fashion Now continues Saturday, October 23 at 12:30 p.m. with
children's fashion show featuring local children making their runway
debut in styles from Belk, Gap Kids, Gymboree and Janie & Jack. The
day will continue with four additional shows showing Charlotte
shoppers the hottest trends for fall from stores including Belk,
Dillard's and Neiman Marcus as well as Banana Republic, Brooks
Brothers, Chico's, Cole Haan, Gap, J. Jill, The Limited, Solstice,
Tommy Bahama and Tumi. In addition to the runway shows, fashion and
beauty experts will offer advice and insight into this fall's cosmetic
trends, highlight the must-have accessories of the season, and offer
tips on updating a wardrobe without breaking the bank.
"We have an extraordinary shopping and style experience lined up for
this season's Simon Fashion Now, enabling our shoppers to get an up-
close, multi-faceted look into this exciting world of fashion," said
Nicole Kennon, director of marketing & business development at
SouthPark.

About Simon Fashion Now™
The concept of Simon Fashion Now was conceived through grand opening
events at properties like The Galleria in Houston, TX, The Forum Shops
at Caesars in Las Vegas, NV and The Domain in Austin, TX. Through the
success of these events, which became fashion focused in 2003, Simon
decided to take the events national and Simon Fashion Now was
introduced. The contemporary program was designed to make the runway
relevant for the everyday fashionista. Spring 2010 stops included The
Westchester in White Plains, NY; La Plaza Mall in McAllen, TX; The
Fashion Mall at Keystone in Indianapolis, IN; Lenox Square in Atlanta,
GA; The Domain in Austin, TX and The Galleria in Houston, TX.
