131 MAIN Named 'Best Restaurant Overall' By Charlotte Magazine,
Expands To New Cities

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – 131 MAIN Restaurant has been named "Best Restaurant
Overall" by the readers of Charlotte Magazine in their latest annual
BOB (Best of the Best) issue.

"We are very pleased with this recognition coming from the thousands
of readers of this leading local magazine," said Chris Carlsen, CFO of
Captiva Restaurant Group, which owns and operates 131 MAIN Restaurant
and other restaurants. "This is a tribute to our core values and team
approach to freshness and customer service. In this economy, while
other restaurants are in trouble or closing, ours are doing very well."

Carlsen said 131 MAIN Restaurant has also recently signed a lease for
a new location in Raleigh and are scheduled to open their Asheville
location in June. It currently operates in Cornelius, Dilworth and
Blakeney in Charlotte.

"Because our restaurants are successful and draw a lot of traffic,
developers welcome us with open arms to their retail centers," Carlsen
said. "Additionally, because our food is uniformly fresh, of high
quality with exceptional service, customers embrace our brand."

New CharlotteNCGuide.com Offers Free Business Listings

CHARLOTTE - Charlotte NC Guide (www.charlottencguide.com) has been launched by Charlotte marketing firm Lawrimore Communications Inc. to provide a new online directory to help people find Charlotte area businesses and nonprofit organizations.

"CharlotteNCGuide.com uses a state-of-the-art software program that allows detailed information for each business, including Google maps for each business location, RSS feeds and the ability for consumers to rate businesses based on their experiences," said Buck Lawrimore, president of Lawrimore Communications. "Initially we are offering this as a free service, so we encourage everyone in the Charlotte area who understands the value of links to their website to register now."

"As advanced as the Internet is, including powerful search engines like Google and Yahoo, it is still very difficult to find businesses in certain categories in a local area," Lawrimore noted. "This is because the majority of websites are still not search engine optimized. So if you do a local search for most business types by category and location, such as 'Charlotte painter,' there are still many providers that do not show up. An online directory can become very valuable as more and more businesses are added over time."

Lawrimore Communications Inc. (www.lciweb.com) also provides Charlotte Area News (www.charlotteareanews.com), featuring news feeds from all Charlotte area news media as well as national news; and Charlotte Online (www.clto.com), an online social networking site for Charlotte area residents. The company specializes in providing cost-effective marketing services, online and traditional, for small to mid-size businesses and government organizations in the greater Charlotte region.
