United Way Launches New 2-1-1 iphone app

Ever wondered who to call for help? It's a great question considering
North Carolina has more than 20,000 nonprofits providing every form of
service. Finding help is now easier than ever for iPhone users with
the launch of the new NC 2-1-1 iPhone App.

There are apps for travel, tipping, organizing your life and so much
more, but now the NC 2-1-1 app makes it simple and easy to find
community resources all across North Carolina including right here in
the five-county area served by United Way of Central Carolinas
(Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Union/Anson, and Lake Norman/Mooresville).

"We are excited that 2-1-1 access is going to the next level in our
community by launching a cutting-edge iPhone app," said Jane McIntyre,
executive director of United Way of Central Carolinas. "Now you can
dial 2-1-1 on your phone, search nc211.org on the web, or you can
connect through an iPhone app. Thanks to NC 2-1-1, help is always at
your finger-tips"

Download the new app to:
