Tranquil Court on Selwyn Adds Specialty Fish Market

Crosland has attracted a new retail concept to Tranquil Court on
Selwyn. Clean Catch Fish Market will be joining the mixed-use
development on Selwyn Avenue in Myers Park.

"We are excited to welcome Clean Catch Fish Market," said Charles
Thrift, senior leasing associate for Crosland's retail division.
"Charlotte residents have not had a specialty fish market in years, so
we're pleased to fill that niche and meet the pent-up demand."

Clean Catch Fish Market is going to be a "European style," high-end
fish market specializing in responsibly fished and caught seafood.
The market will offer fresh fish and seafood shoppers are typically
unaccustomed to seeing in local grocery stores. The mission, in
addition to emphasizing sustainable fishing practices, is to take the
mystery out of seafood. The market will provide weekly tasting
demonstrations and classes on how to prepare and cook the fish as well
as how to pair with complementary wines.

In addition, a daily selection of specialty and prepared items such as
fresh Ahi-tuna meatballs and wild salmon burgers will be available as
well as seafood-friendly wine and beer and fresh, local organic
produce. Ensuring a quality experience, Clean Catch will individually
service each customer's order from the cut of the fish to the ice
placed in the bag guaranteeing the quality of the product sold on the
trip home. Fish will be sourced from places such as the Carolina
coast, California, Hawaii and New England.

"We want to teach people they don't need to be afraid of fish," said
Bill Ryan, owner and partner of Clean Catch Fish Market. "With a great
quality product, you don't need to do a lot to it."
Ryan and his partners developed their piscatorial passion while they
were in the restaurant and wine business in Boston. He chose Tranquil
Court because he recognized the neighborhood needed this type of
market. The store is scheduled to open in mid-Summer 2010.

Most recently, Tranquil Court on Selwyn announced restaurant Mellow
Mushroom was joining the development. They are expected to open in May.

Tranquil Court on Selwyn is a mixed-use development comprised of two
buildings on a 2.73-acre site at Selwyn and Tranquil avenues. The
commercial component, totaling approximately 63,000 square feet, is
located within a five-story building adjacent to the Tranquil Court
residences. The commercial building includes class-A office space for
small- and medium-sized businesses above retail. Pedestrian-level
retail will feature boutique shops and dining offerings. The 104
luxury residences include studio, one- and two-bedroom condominiums
ranging from 562 to 1,419 square feet. For more information, visit
