IN CHARLOTTE

their Careers -

PROBLEM - With the unemployment rate in Charlotte currently
reported at 11.6 percent today, there is an existing need for out-of-

the increasingly competitive job market.

job seekers a career fair that goes above and beyond just offering job
opportunities. CareerBuilder and University of Phoenix are putting
local job seekers in touch with professional resume writers, image
consultants and networking experts to help them retool their job-
hunting approach and make themselves more marketable to employers.

Leading local employers such as Bank of America, TIAA-CREF, Charlotte-
Mecklenburg Police, Robert Half, The Westin and more will be on hand
to recruit candidates for current job openings. While attendees make
the rounds to meet with potential employers, they can also visit
career makeover stations for one-on-one advice.

In addition to job opportunities and career retooling sessions, best-
