Syria Expert will speak at Davidson Sept. 13

Davidson College invites the public to a talk by Syria expert Joshua Landis on Thursday, Sept. 13. Landis is Director of the Center of MiddleEastern Studies at the University of Oklahoma and author of the blog Syria Comment. His talk, titled "Syria: What Does the Future Hold?" will begin at 7 p.m. in the Lilly Family Gallery of Chambers Building. There is no charge to attend.

Landis is one of the most respected analysts working today on Syria and the politics of the Levant. He appears frequently in national print, radio, and television outlets. Syria Comment is required reading for people in Washington and beyond who want to understand the complex conflict unfolding in Syria and its impact on the broader region.
